  • Understanding results - Time to Hover!
  • Delve deeper by Filtering Results

Ways to create Groups - Via Top Menu

If you already know the group of learners you wish to focus on, you can create a group before sending out a survey. This group can then be selected via the filter menu to delve deeper into responses.

Ways to create Groups - From Questionnaire/ Survey Results

When viewing the results of a Questionnaire/ Survey after reviewing the learners responses, we may see a number of learners that we wish to follow up with or monitor closely. When viewing the results of a survey, simply select the responders icon on the side menu and check the box beside the name of the learners you wish to create a target group for, and create a group.

Understanding results - Time to Hover!

When viewing the results of a Questionnaire/ Survey remember to hover over the circle in the four quadrants of the Response Overview. When you hover over a response/ circle you can immediately see who this response was from and the weighting that this learner assigned to each engagement question: What they enjoyed and what they found challenging about that lesson.. You can cross check this with their written response that appears on the right hand side to get a big picture insight into how they are feeling about their learning at that moment in time.

Delve deeper by Filtering Results

When sending out a survey to the whole class you may wish to look closer at the results for your target group. Within Sliders you can use the filter function to view how your target group has found that particular lesson. Use the hover function and read the responder notes to access more detailed information on how the learners responded

An extension of the Filter function is to look at a particular learner's response over time, looking for any patterns or change in their responses towards an area of learning. (note this functionality is only available at the individual learner level and unavailable at the group level as it becomes too hard to read).
